Sint Maarten is the name of the half of St. Martin island administered by the Netherlands. It was part of the Netherlands Antilles until October, 2010, at which time it became a constituent state within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The song used by Sint Maarten as a national anthem, “O Sweet Saint Martin’s Land”, was composed by a Catholic priest on the French side of the island, but is used as a local anthem on the whole island.
Special thanks to: Ben Cahoon for informing me about this anthem and Paweł Ciupak for the music file.
